Here’s an important event taking place in New York in two weeks, with an incredibly-strong panel of speakers, Muneer Awad of CAIR, attorney Alan Levine, filmmaker Frank Antonio Lopez, and civil liberties advocate Linda Sarsour.
We covered the first panel Jews Against Islamophobia coalition organized in December, featuring Deepa Kumar, Abdeen Jabara and Elly Bulkin among others, and explaining the roots of Islamophobia. This panel will talk about its expression here in hate speech and government policies. I am sure it will touch on Pam Geller’s religious-war-propaganda posters in the subway.
