The despicable figure here seems to be, not the obtuse gorillas who may well be too thick to get any other job, but Josh Rogin from FP who, it says, was there and tweeting shyster’s slime:
“So Lupe played one anti-war song for 30 min and said he didn’t vote for Obama and eventually was told to move on to the next song.”
“Lupe refused to move to the next song so a team of security guards came on stage and told him”
Yes, Rogin, nothing like censorship-free “Democratic” censorship of the Gaza massacre.

yeah, everyone should open the complex link to read the tweets. playing one song for 30 minutes and being told to move on to another song and he refused. pretty balsy.

These squares obviously don’t know their rap music, the Danish rap group East Coast Hustler had a rap song which was 78 minutes 48 seconds long, how do they know when the song finishes, I’m a grandad so this music is not my scene [ skiffle and early Elvis Presley] but I do like the lyrics.

    ~ Lupe Fiasco lyrics

MY SARCASM: Lupe Fiasco, you have been a very, very, naughty boy. You’ll never get anywhere unless you learn your “proper place” and venture not therefrom! ! !

“The Western arrogance of feeling that [the United States] has everything to teach others and nothing to learn from them is not just.” ~ MLK, Jr

“Any nation that year after year continues to raise the Defense budget while cutting social programs to the neediest is a nation approaching spiritual death.” ~ Rev. MLK Jr

“We have also come to this hallowed spot to remind America of the fierce urgency of Now. This is no time to engage in the luxury of cooling off or to take the tranquilizing drug of gradualism.” ~ MLK Jr

Lupe Fiasco is a paranoid know-nothing and a pretentious, affected, emotionally and intellectually stunted manchild. He believes these ridiculous Illuminati and 9/11 conspiracy theories. Mondoweiss should be more discerning in who it champions.

      @ riyadh
If that sums up Lupe Fiasco, for further example, what sums up the much more influential and aged man-child war monger, Shelly Adelson?

Man! Don’t be a player hater. He’s done more in his 30 years of existence that you could probably do in a lifetime. He’s a young smart savvy talented socially conscious rapper whose as un-gangsta rap as you could possibly imagine (he’s completely against the misogyny of mainstream rap), he’s a fashion designer, a music label rep, a sponsored skater, a grammy award winning artist sitting on top of the world, playing by his own rules… and yet, he’s still philanthropic, supporting, endorsing, and contributing to many causes and charities around the world, never forgetting the small people.

Yep, I can completely see how Lupe is a “know nothing” and a “pretentious, affected, emotionally and intellectually stunted manchild.”

Huh? So Gaza did not get bombed by Israel after Obama’s first election? Or is it that Obama did stand up to Israel at that time. What was it fiasco said that was such a ridiculous conspiracy theory?

Please, If ya got the gonads…….

Tell us what it is you disagree with in regards to Lupe’s lyrics, cited above. Or, uh, do his beliefs about 9/11 discredit ALL his beliefs and assertions?

BTW….I haven’t a clue what really came down on 9/11, but if you believe the official line of BS in its entirety, than you’re an idiot.

Black Chicago hip-hop artist Lupe Fiasco got thrown off stage at the Hamilton Live Inauguration Concert after he performed an anti-Obama-anti-War song mid set. A taste of his song:
“I really think the war on terror is a bunch of bullshit
Just a poor excuse for you to use up all your bullets
How much money does it take to really make a full clip
9/11 building 7 did they really pull it
Uhh, And a bunch of other cover ups
Your childs future was the first to go with budget cuts
If you think that hurts then, wait here comes the uppercut
The school was garbage in the first place, that’s on the up and up
Keep you at the bottom but tease you with the uppercrust
You get it then they move you so you never keeping up enough
If you turn on TV all you see’s a bunch of “what the fucks”
Dude is dating so and so blabbering bout such and such
And that ain’t Jersey Shore, homie that’s the news
And these the same people that supposed to be telling us the truth
Limbaugh is a racist, Glenn Beck is a racist
Gaza strip was getting bombed, Obama didn’t say shit
That’s why I ain’t vote for him, next one either
I’m a part of the problem, my problem is I’m peaceful
And I believe in the people.”

9/11 building 7 did they really pull it

Nothing triggers greater hysteria among the powers that be than any questioning whatever of the 9/11 official story, a bizarre narrative that was demolished years ago from dozens of different angles. We’ve reached the point where not a single skeptical word about 9/11 can be uttered in the mainstream media — that is how fragile the official story is. An absolute dead silence is being enforced, to the point that many guardians of official reality would prefer not to talk about 9/11 at all.

Books questioning the JFK assassination official story used to make the New York Times bestseller list. 9/11 is a much more sensitive subject.

Bill Maher understands the rules of the game so well that he goes ballistic and abandons all pretense of being a sharp and skeptical thinker whenever the topic comes up.

GoLupe. Never heard of this young man but that is not saying much. I am just not that with it. Was at the last inauguration and it felt sick that while all of it was going on Gaza was being blown to smitherins. Thousands dying, thousands injured and Obama said nothing. Although at one of the inauguration parties that I attended Amy Goodman spoke for a solid 15 or so minutes about what was going on in the Gaza. Some people started leaving the room. Good riddance.

      Go Lupe! Telling the truth

I am so out of it when it comes to music. Know what I like when I hear it but so out of it that back in the day I only bought two albums (yes albums) in my whole life. Joni Mitchell, Cat Stevens. More than pathetic on my part. Grew up on it.

Although I will say at the music inauguration events four years was outside. My friend Denise and I were standing listening to all of the groups coming on stage to play and we were standing next to all of these young folk and we would say “who is that” performing. They would laugh and tell us. Then at one point an old gent was up there playing and they asked us “who is that?” Pete Seeger we said happy that we knew someone on that stage, “who is he” they asked. We had a great deal to say about Pete
