Existence is Resistance is a New York-based organization that “use the arts as a means of expression and liberation of marginalized peoples throughout the world with a focus on connecting to the situation of occupied Palestine.”

I LOVE THIS!!!!!!

This is awesome! I really love the idea of the use of viral videos in order to bring attention to the Palestinian cause.

I know you probably think this is all in good fun, but I’m disappointed that you’re entertaining this highly calculated “viral” phenomenon. As someone who fights against the gentrification of Palestine, how could you endorse the gentrification of Black culture? But thanks for filling the pockets of Mad Decent, and the laziest producer to ever luck into success, Diplo. You should really read Brandon Soderberg’s article about “Harlem Shake” over at Spin Magazine.
