Izvestia printed a story detailing Russian security agencies tracking the eldest Boston bomber to Georgia-US NGOs operating inside Russia for destablization. Der Spiegel has linked these destablization efforts to Israeli military and ex Mossad contractors .
It thus appears that Russia’s contacting of both the CIA and FBI over the Boston bomber was a way of blowing his cover saying ;We have acquired this agent’, working for either an NGO intelligence op, or for a nation state.

Video is not working. Same on YouTube, where it says “experiencing technical difficulties.”

Do hope we can see this eventually or a verbatim transcript, I was fortunate to see some of the broadcast with our host and Professors Siegman and Walt answering questions, before ‘batteries low’ came on the screen.

Unfortunately, my server kept dropping the connection; now, about half way through the Q & A, it does not reconnect at all–with a half hour left I got exasperated and quit.
