Montgomery bus boycott was divisive — Remi Kanazi video

From the poet Remi Kanazi:

“‘This Divestment Bill Hurts My Feelings’ deconstructs and debunks the multitude of talking points against divestment on university campuses and makes a clear case for cutting our complicity with Israeli occupation and apartheid. Fusing together spoken word poetry and motion graphics, I collaborated with director, animator, and co-founder of DAM, Suhel Nafar, on the project.”

thanks for posting up this video Philip Weiss.

‘This Divestment Bill Hurts My Feelings’ another great poem by Remi Kanazi.

i watched Remi Kanazi video ‘Normalize This!’ last year and i was in awe by how powerful and meaningful a poem can be.

just finish watching Remi Kanazi ‘Nakba’

“We will return. That is not a threat, a wish, a hope, or a dream, but a promise.”

there is a decisiveness in these words, a finality that will have to happen in our lifetimes.

Remi Kanazi is inspirational.

I was thinking of the message the last Flotilla wanted to send to the people in Gaza- the world is with you.
And now the Palestinians are going stellar.

It’s fantastic
