Latest Netanyahu cartoon says west is allowing ISIS to build ‘atomic bombs’ aimed at US and Christianity

As the P5+1 push ahead to make a deal with the Iranian government over its nuclear program, the Israeli prime minister has published his latest cartoon to try and stop the deal. This cartoon equates ISIS, the Islamic state, with the “Islamic State of Iran” and suggests that the west is going to allow ISIS to get nukes.

Imagine Islamic State building atomic bombs. Well, maybe it’s not that hard to imagine.

The Islamic State of Iran – like ISIS. Just much bigger.

The cartoon ends with an ISIS fighter who has morphed into an Iranian ayatollah hugging nuclear warheads that are labeled with the US, Israel, Christianity and gay rights.

Iran’s real name is the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Netanyahu’s remarks earlier today were on message:

The world is properly concerned and aghast at the violence and savagery of ISIS. No one would dream of allowing the Islamic State of ISIS to have nuclear weapons. Why would anyone consider giving the Islamic State of Iran, which is a lot more powerful than ISIS and acts with much greater power than ISIS to have additional power of nuclear weapons? That’s a mistake. The Islamic State of Iran, the foremost sponsor of international terrorism, should not have access to nuclear weapons.

We need a better deal. This deal should not pass

The State Department seems to be ignoring Israel. From a briefing by a top official in Vienna yesterday— Israel was not mentioned during the diplomatic press conference:

It is certainly possible to get a deal here. We do see a path forward to get a comprehensive agreement that meets our bottom lines, and this path forward has to be based on the Lausanne parameters, period. And just in case you missed that, I’m going to turn to my trusty Farsi speaker and he’ll give it to you in Farsi…

But there are real and tough issues that remain which have to be resolved in order to get the comprehensive agreement, and we still do not know yet whether we will be able to get there. We do not know. We want to. We hope to. But we do not know.

I asked this question a week ago but got no reply.

Again!!.

Wasn,t nietanyahu promised finacial/military largess if he kept his mouth shut about the Iran Deal until it was signed or fell through.

Why is Obama not responding to this interference by nietanyahu. This story was all over the media at the time.

nietanyahu is like the jerk at a company meeting who just won,t stop asking dumb questions so the rest can get back to work and solve the issues discussed.

I see what Obama meant when he told Sarkozy that he had to deal with nietandyahu every day.

I feel the zionists pain , what with BDS starting to hurt Israel and Iran possibly making a deal and The WH not answering the phone anymore and keeping Israel out in the cold.

Ain,t it “Luverly , luverly”.

“Wasn,t nietanyahu promised finacial/military largess if he kept his mouth shut about the Iran Deal until it was signed or fell through.”

Would it matter? Has Butcher Bibi ever kept his word about anything?

I’ve got to hand it to them, that ISIS cartoon is ever stupider than the Gaza one. The Foreign Ministry folk need to stop listening to the voices in their heads.

People, take your medication!

More Netanyahu trash to clutter the internet.

My favorite tweet thus far:

“Israel looking to sway the crucial 5-14 year old demographic against the nuclear deal.”

As I’ve said before, there is a reason that Israel is not at the table… as it turns out, there are many reasons. Israel’s PMs never, ever really want peace.

In the meantime with all the furor over BDS, there is obvious angst among some in Israel about the dispelling of the democratic illusion that used to hold sway:

“In the State of Israel’s waning democracy, Arabs are only the first target

Arab MKs are easy prey, but they are only a means to redefining the pact between the state and its citizens on the basis of loyalty to the state’s purported representatives, the far right.

… Epithets by the right are consciously based on linguistic, passion-stirring obfuscation, dividing reality into absolute good (the only democracy in the Middle East, the most moral army in the world) and abject evil (supporters of terror, anti-Semites and anti-Zionists). It is a lowbrow, propagandistic style that wouldn’t embarrass any tyrannical regime in that same Middle East those impassioned MKs scorn.

But another, much more problematic principle is seeping in between the lines. “Go back to Gaza, you traitor” (Miri Regev to Haneen Zoabi in Arabic), “Return your ID card” (Oren Hazan to Esawi Freige, also in Arabic), “We doing you a favor by letting you live here” (Yaron Mazuz to Aida Touma-Suliman) – all these and similar outbursts bear witness, more than anything, that Judea and Samaria really are here.

What’s happening now in the Knesset is not random racism. It’s a heavy step on the long road that the eternal people is not afraid of. The right, headed by Benjamin Netanyahu (who signaled the trend with his Election Day speech about Arabs “heading to the polls in droves”), in practice is turning Israel proper into surplus territory for the Land of Judea.

Out of a fragile democracy, the State of Israel is being redesigned as an area with blurred borders, run by a centralized and belligerent regime through brute police force, where the Jews living in it enjoy the privilege of their status as citizens.

And herein lies the catch. In the next stage this privilege will be conditioned on supporting the regime, and naïve and well-meaning people will suddenly find themselves in the leprous camp, which can be blamed for anything without proof.

Arab MKs are easy prey because most of the public apathetically accepts the smear campaign against them. However, they are only a means to redefining the pact between the state and its citizens on the basis of loyalty to the “State of Israel,” that is to say, the far right that supposedly represents it. And when this process will be completed, not much will remain of democracy. It will just be “the state.””

‘Do as we say, not as we do’ really doesn’t fly anymore. The unmasking of Israel continues apace. Lots of us knew it wasn’t going to be pretty, but it was inevitable. The profound hypocrisy of Netanyahu and others is breathtaking. The IOF commits acts of terror every single day! One has only to check Kate’s frequent compilations. Yet today, Netanyahu lambasted the PA for not condemning as terror the recent shooting and stabbing of Israelis.

“Netanyahu slams Palestinian Authority for failing to denounce terror attacks
‘Those who don’t condemn terrorism cannot wash their hands of blood,’ said Netanyahu in wake of two attacks on Israelis within 24 hours.”

The hubris of a clandestinely armed nuclear state who has no intention of signing the NPT nor of adhering to international law dictating to others and trying with all of its roaring might to undermine normalization of relations with Iran is really intolerable to me.

Remind me again why they are considered a valued ally…

“Israeli Defence Minister Moshe Ya’alon acknowledged on Monday that his government helps Syrian rebels fighting against the Assad regime on condition that they keep the Israel-Syria border secure”. https://www.middleeastmonitor.com/news/middle-east/19551-israel-acknowledges-that-it-helps-syrian-rebels All the rebel groups share or sell arms to one another, and form alliances with one another to achieve specific goals. One thing they all seem agreed on is, never to attack Israel, I wonder why?
