Growth, Unity, and Victories: Reflecting on a year of accomplishments since the first national SJP conference

The 2012 National Students for Justice in Palestine Conference starts November 2nd at the University of Michigan. Organizers are asking for donations to help students attend the conference. They’re hoping to raise $15,000 for travel support, and are roughly 1/3 of the way there.

Timeline: Attempts to censor students and faculty who stand up for human rights on UC campuses


The University of California report on the campus climate for Jewish students recommends wide forms of censorship to limit criticism of Israel. And while the report has been heavily criticized, relatively little attention has been paid to the role of the UC Administration in contributing to a climate of fear, censorship, and intimidation for those speaking out against Israeli human rights violations.
