      One indication of just how ignorant and/or stupid most extreme racists are is this killer's lumping together of Muslims and Hindus. Perhaps she doesn't know that, going back at least to the end of WWII, the greatest amount of anti-Muslim violence in the world has been committed by Hindus, often with overt or covert state sanction, in India and Indian-occupied Kashmir, and that Hindu-dominated India has very good relations with those other Islamophobic countries, Israel and the U.S..

      I don't mean here to denounce the totality of Hindus. It is the politically dominant portions of the Hindu-identified population of India that are the problem, not only for Muslims but for Dalits, most of whom are nominally Hindu, but treated as pariahs, 'untouchables', within Hinduism.

      It's been quite normal for a long time for the U.S. and "Al Qaeda" to be on the same side while continuing to denounce, and even attack, each other. Before Syria there was Libya, before that, Kosovo, and, before that, Bosnia. And those are just the cases that come to mind.

      I don't know if it's 'Heartwarming', but it's certainly proper for the left -- without subordinating itself politically to them -- to join with non-leftist, even rightist, sectors of the colonized population in defense against the imperialist-backed colonizers.

      OTOH, it's pretty bad when leftists join with 'jihadists' and other rightists in an alliance with the imperialists, as many did and are doing in Libya and Syria.

      The Zionists are a small but clever criminal enterprise that has managed to 'persuade' the members of a much larger and more powerful criminal enterprise -- the one known as the United States of America -- that the interests of the two crime syndicates, which certainly overlap in membership, are totally identical. If, as is often claimed, this myth weakens the latter, more powerful, criminal entity, I see no reason why those who care about the great majority of the human and other beings on the planet that are victims of this larger, 'American', syndicate should want to convince the leaders and supporters of the latter of their error. Rather, let's hope that the U.S. criminals continue to act stupidly, so that they will be weakened and, consequently, all the lesser criminals that depend on them will be weakened or eliminated as well.

      Does the political-economic-military entity known as "United States of America" have a "right to exist"?

      No! A thousand times, 'No'!

      While the nearly 500 years of crimes against humanity and Planet Earth that have led to the existence of the 'United States' as it is presently constituted cannot, for the most part, be reversed, the European-'Americans' who regard themselves as the rightful masters of that entity have no more right to the land they occupy (and its resources) than anybody else on the planet has to that same land. And they certainly have no right to defend that entity or its borders, especially since they have never let any borders restrain their own lust for the land and resources of others.

      The right of European-'Americans' and those 'Americans' from non-European continents who identify with them to continue living on the land they occupy should be contingent on their sharing it with others and on their NOT using it as a base for the continued looting of the resources and labor of the rest of the world.

      The same applies, mutatis mutandis, to 'Israel' and the land of Palestine.

      Excuse the change of subject, but could you folks post somewhere on the site instructions on how to change one's login password for this site? I can't remember the arbitrary string of characters that was emailed to me as my password when I signed up, and I assume others might have the same problem.

      If I'm just being dense and missing the obvious, the moderators should feel free to delete this and send me a private email instead.
