Thank you for posting this link to the Warsaw Ghetto uprising. It was very difficult to read without rage enveloping me and frankly at the end when they finally resisted I wanted every damn German dead. I'm ashamed I didn't know more about the Warsaw Ghetto. There is absolutely no moral equivalence between what happen to the Jewish people in the Warsaw Ghetto and what is happening or has happen in Gaza as of yet. I think it's important to be intellectually honest. I know the 2008-2009 Gaza Invasion was horrible and there is no excuse for it especially concerning the dead innocent civilians. It was just as bad, I understand. But proportionaly as bad as Gaza has been the Warsaw Ghetto experience was straight out of hell. Basically, every body was starved to death and sent off to the gas chambers and finally the last 30,000 out of 300,000 put up a fight. I wish everybody reads the link Lauradurkay posted. It does make the treatment of the Palestinians even more difficult to understand for me , however, I believe people need to quit stating that Gaza equals the Warsaw Ghetto. It doesn't, it's not even close. Gaza is definitely worse than S.A. aparthied and not near as bad as the Nazi's. I believe everybody here desires for it not to get any worse. One last thing. The prisoners of the Warsaw Ghetto were able to get out to the Western Powers their situation in 1941 and their message was actually broadcast in London on Public Radio. And the West(America & Great Britian) did nothing about it, not even acknowledging it. Unbelievable.

Without USG explicit support all these years, the Israeli's could never behave the way they have. Some people say we went into Iraq because of Israeli ,and there probably is some truth to it, however, Israeli or not we would have invaded them because of oil. Does anybody think the USG would have invaded Iraq if they had blueberry crops instead of vast oil deposits. Now this is where it gets difficult for me.
Thought experiment. If Israeli were a black nation with no money or power what would history look like? We would have crushed and subjugated it years ago and gave it back to the Palestinians. Guys, I wish I could share your view that the world is figuring out Israeli. The people might be but I just don't see the governments moving in the right direction. Two pieces of evidence that are troubling. The first is expanded UN Sanctions against Iran voted in the UN today. The peace deal brokered by Brazil and Turkey was derisively dismissed by the United States. With contempt may I add. This is huge and very indicative of our future actions. Second is the slow turn by The New York Establishment Times and other establishment players that are starting to paint our NATO ally as a traitorous ally. What's Up is down in their world. Plus the increased attacks on NATO troops in Afghanistan that seem to already be taking effect. I don't see anything good coming out of this. God help us.

My understanding of Christianity is Love not revenge. The Lord instructs to forgive and turn the other cheek. It is an extremely challenging social system that has never been tried. But the only one that will ever work. If there is a backlash in America then come visit me and I will welcome you. I do not think Americans will be like the Nazi's. We are all in this together. I can sympathize with your plight because mine is similiar. Let me explain. I grew up and live in the Deep South of the U.S.(american like you) I was raised to believe that Israeli and my country could do no wrong. And in Church every Sunday Israeli would always be mention at least once and always in the context of the Chosen People and he who bless thee will be blessed and he that curse thee will be cursed(Does that apply to Jesus and Paul too?) The religion is Christian Zionism and if you think the ethnic tribal mentatility is strong with Jewish people you haven't seen anything. Christian Zionism demands allegiance and one step out of line and you are ostrazied out of the community. Well thats me.
