      Not he is not, neither me.We both served our country - proudly and still willing to serve. A will to serve a cause is always stronger and cannot be explained by some "indoctrination". Jews can not rely on anyone for their security except for themselves. And please do not bring the usual crap about US aid etc. The same aid goes to Saudis, Egyptians or anyone else who is within US interest. We have learned our history lessons- the question is will our opponents learn as well.

      I would like to congratulate Phil and his co-workers with a remarkable achievement.
      This blog, upon the addition of Annie Robbins and continuous posts by Alex Kane and Max Ajl, who are deeply involved in developing the alternative or "truthful" version of the current events, particularly covering military, diplomatic and security aspects of them, has finally found its rightful place among the many conspiracy blogs, focused on blaming Israel and US for all the wrongs in the world.
      From promoting political activism and self-defined liberal ideas to this.
      What a pity.
      But well, I guess Hasbara Central, me included, can now look for the additional targets.

      His death was unnecessary and cruel- that is true. However there are enough dead bodies on both sides without idiotic screaming about wiping out Israel and armed struggles. When you go and start confronting armed soldiers, you are aware of the fact that you may get shot. That would happen anywhere in the world. Getting a gas canister at the close range is dreadful and I am sure whoever fired it will give a full answer for it.
      Getting stones at your head while being on duty can evoke very strong reaction from the individual and I hope that you realize that the soldiers/ police officers are human beings with same set of emotions.
      Should IDF be as blood thirsty as described here no protester would be alive after 2 minutes in to the demonstration. Usual set of ammo is 192 bullets/ soldier- make your own math.
      And another thing - every moron who wants to fight Israel does not help Palestinian cause at all, but nevertheless is welcomed to try.

      Understanding why they fight is not equal for supporting their fight. It's 101 of basic strategic and tactic thought. I must assure you that there is no one in Israel who does not understand why the Palestinians fight, but there is a prevailing majority of the people who are willing to stand against it.
      However, while Zionist movement was building their society as well as fighting, all Palestinians could come with was the military option. Funny enough the PA and Fayyad efforts to build something of a functioning framework get ridiculed here as the "collaboration".
      Some much effort here is devoted to the support of "innocent" Palestinians, regardless of their deeds, and demonization of the Israelis, forgetting that it goes both ways, including the boycott option.

      First, because they are not the majority in Israel.
      And second, Phil views are skewed towards the Palestinian views and for what it worth, there is nothing wrong with it, but to present them as the ultimate truth and to try to build some solutions upon, that is a different story.
      I do not hate any of the Palestinians, Arab or Muslim person. But should any of them choose to fight me or my country for whatever reason he has, my moral duty lays with protecting my country and my fellow citizens, including in case of Israel its Arab citizens as well.
      Also I'd like to thank you for not bringing the Holocaust theme here.

      According to that "analysis"-Jordan and Turkey, Israel and US, Gulf States are all the same as it comes to Syria. And the 'logical" answer produce by the author is to let people of Syria to die, waiting for the democracy to emerge without any outside intervention.. Do I have to remind here that Mubarak stepped down only after Obama withdrew his support? There is no possibility to sustain the uprising without outside politics involved.
      I've read many posts here claiming that Asad is "needed' to Israel and therefore Israel will support his crush on the revolution. I have also read that Palestinian intifada have to supported by the international community. Posts here were cheerful when Turkey has severed its relation with Israel. However here they all are the same, and the only conclusion is to let Syria "grow" to democracy (no matter how many people will die) and let Iran to do the same.

      The mere fact that Omar Bargouti goes to the same university as I did, while being foreign-born Palestinian citizen should tell you a lot.       I'm trying to bring an additional perspective on the facts on the ground -that's all. However I have NEVER resolved to low levels of personal attacks and ill-talking about someone, particularly dead person.
