  • Contextualizing the Holocaust
  • In Gaza, fishermen are under constant attack for trying to make a living
    • LongLiveGreed, I think you are following the advice in the last page of the Hasbara Hound Training Guide:

      "Still outwitted? mock the other side intelligence and integrity. It always works with civilized people. They have no defense for such an attack but use it sparingly because they are no fools (they only seem so) and may avoid you in the future".

    • I see several possible reasons for this policy:

      * pathological hate of Arabs and Goyim in general
      * part of systematic psychological oppression policy
      * block info on the robbery of Palestinian gas fields
      * create Omega-3 and Iodine deficiency
      * prevent possibly military marine capability
      * prevent smuggling capability
      * pure sadism

      I guess it's some combination.

  • Palestinian negotiator Hanan Ashrawi pressed on next steps for Palestinian statehood
    • pabelmont, why remove the settlements? They could be left in place for the Palestinian refugees still living in crowded camps. This could lower the compensation Israel should pay.

      I'm not sure UNGA have fixed finite energy that should be applied only at one optimal point. On the contrary the more UNGA, the real authority of the world, exercise its powers the more influence it will have.

    • I suggest the UN General Assembly vote again and re-affirm the 1947 Partition Plan as it was, with the same strange borders, 55%-45% land ratio and all the Jerusalem region internationalized . This will make Israel understand that cheating time is over and make it negotiate in earnest.

      Nothing can prevent the UNGA from re-affirming its old decision and henceforth the same resolution that made Israel legitimate will be from now on also the declaration of Palestinian independence.
