What is really surprising is that Bergman (who I usually enjoy reading) manages to write such a long article about this subject without mentioning the Hannabal Directive, the top secret rules of engagement in cases of abductions. Israeli soldiers are expected to shoot at the abductors to stop their escape, even at the price of killing their comrade. Israeli censorship usually is very strict on anything on this subject. Even more surprising is the fact that he actually interviews one of the authors of this order, Yaakov Amidror.
For more on the Hannibal Directive, see:

I was not very happy with your description of the tomb of Samuel as being "both a mosque with a minaret and a Jewish place of worship". This is true only since 1967. It has been a Muslim sanctuary since the crusaders. This is not the only case were Jews have gate-crashed Muslim holy places; the Abraham mosque in Hebron, the so-called Tomb of Joseph in Nablus and the Tomb of David on Mount Zion (which was a mosque until 1948). The Tomb of Rachel, however really was a joint venture with a mosque doubling as a Jewish and Christian place of worship.
I am not fluent in Hebrew but I did take a 6-month Ulpan course some 25 years ago. But to be fair and as far as I can make out the video doesn't explicitly discuss mixed marriages. I can't appreciate the nuances in the Hebrew language but as far as I can understand it only deplores young Jews being "mitbulelim", that is assimilated, and therefore "being lost to us".
