Congress has always been in "Bring me the donkey!" mode.
For yet another facet of Treviño's wretchedness:

Nah, gangsters aren't thin-skinned cowards who hide their Twitter comments like Trevino does.
Here's Treviño downplaying the atrocities committed by Apartheid-era South Africa:
This is the same Alan Dershowitz whose friend/client/benefactor, Jeffrey Epstein was convicted of molesting underage girls in Florida. As part of the failed effort to get Epstein off, Dershowitz cyberstalked his client's victims: snooping into their sex lives and trying to dig up other dirt on the kids Epstein molested:
New York Magazine
Epstein mounted an aggressive counterinvestigation. Epstein’s friend Alan Dershowitz, the Harvard law professor, provided the police and the state attorney’s office with a dossier on a couple of the victims gleaned from their MySpace sites—showing alcohol and drug use and lewd comments. The police complained that private investigators were harassing the family of the 14-year-old girl before she was to appear before the grand jury in spring 2006. The police said that one girl had called another to say, “Those who help [Epstein] will be compensated and those who hurt him will be dealt with.”
So I'm not the least bit surprised that Dershowitz is defending someone who looked the other way when one of his assistants witnesses a child being raped -he used thug tactics in behalf of a creep who actually raped children himself!
Dershowitz: there's no end to THAT prick!
This reminds me of a poster in 1991:
"James Baker lives in Occupied Texas!"
I had a similar experience at Daily Kos, where Likudnik spambots and outright trolls are given free rein to spam any I/P discussion to death, which is the real reason so many "progressive" sites shun the issue.
Almost any forum that tries to discuss the issue will find itself besieged by spammers and trolls and most moderators or hosts simply don't want the headache. It's easier to avoid the issue than it is to weed out trolls.
After reading Marc Thiessen calling for the kidnapping and/or assassination of Julian Assange, I was reminded of the fact that Nixon's thugs plotted to firebomb the Brookings Institution to destroy the Pentagon Papers, which they believed were hidden in Brookings' offices.
How long before Alan Dershowitz writes a column at Huffington Post or the Jerusalem Post claiming Henochowicz's lost eye was "anti-Semitic" and deserved to be shot out?
This would explain AIPAC's hysteria over Ahmadinejad. Holocaust denial is their prerogative -not his.
U.S. embassies have always been useless. An uncle of mine used to work on the F-16 fighter for overseas clients and he was told by his bosses and co-workers that if you're ever in trouble, don't bother running to the American embassy because they are pathetic -run to the British embassy instead.
