The War of Ideas in the Middle East
It's not fair to say that they 'stole' Arabic food, because ~50% of Israeli Jews are Mizrahi, they are themselves Arab. I have met many Israeli Jews whose parents speak Arabic at home, and they eat Arabic food at home most of the time. That's why one-state is even more possible.
However, when they label Middle Eastern cuisine as "Israeli", such as "Israeli couscous", that is a gross display of nationalist co-option. However, Lebanese sometimes do it too, but not to the same extent.
Are you serious? I have to confront anti-semites all the time at the demonstrations I organize, it is disgusting. Antisemitism is racism, and it is wrong, just like Islamophobia or Zionism. Furthermore, if we tolerate antisemites, then not only are we corrupting our own principled stand for human rights but it's essentially an "own goal" in the very serious war for hearts and minds we are currently engaged in.
Antisemites are evil evil creatures which corrupt and sabotage our movement and must be purged.

I have no doubt in my mind that Israel's policies are comparable to South Africa's policies of apartheid. The comparison can be useful when make a case. However, it's lazy to rely on using the word "apartheid" so heavily.
All we have to do is describe the reality of the situation, and people will be able to judge for themselves whether it is right or wrong.
However, like I said above, I hope the word "hafrada" eventually becomes as dirty as the word "apartheid".
"Apartheid" was South Africa's whitewashed term for policies of racial segregation as "hafrada" is Israel's whitewashed term for policies of ethnic segregation.
I hope one day "hafrada" becomes as dirty a word as "apartheid" is today.
