  • At town hall, Sen. Warren says Israel Anti-Boycott Act 'violates our basic constitution'
  • Israeli gov't used my image for propaganda purposes without my consent
    • "Palestinian hasbarists..."?!

There are no Palestinian hasbarists. The only trolls we know of are you Israeli hasbarists. "By way of deception shall you do war."

How much do you get to spread your Zionist lies, anyway? . Most of your pay comes from hard-working Americans' tax dollars.

    • They also have taken over American democracy without our consent, and help themselves to billions every year of our tax dollars without our consent. (Our Congress voted for those appropriations, you say? How do you think those Congressmen are treated if they don't do what Israel tells them to do? Go back to Point #1.)

    • Jon S., Did you bother to read her explanation? Or is it just that you figure that all those "Palis" are liars?

  • Duma murders fail to penetrate the Tel Aviv bubble
    • I stand by my comment; I was not "composing" anything. "Women of Zion" is the translation of the term used in the Bible ("New International Version"), not mine. I do not speak Hebrew and in any case, this conversation here is in English. I used the words "women of Israel" to denote the women of the modern area because that is the area I am talking about now; upon reflection, "women of Palestine/Israel"might have been a better term, except that I wasn't talking about Palestinian women.
And since the article talks about Tel Aviv specifically, I saw no reason to mention Jerusalem at all. NO translation of the verse into English translates "women of Zion/Sion" as "women of Jerusalem."

    • Isaiah describes the women of the Israel of 2600 years ago: "The LORD says, "The women of Zion are haughty, walking along with outstretched necks, flirting with their eyes, strutting along with swaying hips, with ornaments jingling on their ankles." (Isaiah 3:6)

Except for the ankle bells, I think he could have been talking about Tel Aviv today. "Plus csa change..."

  • Angela Merkel makes a 14-year old Palestinian girl cry by telling her she is not welcome in Germany
    • Germany indeed has a special responsibility. They have done a lot to support Israel. If they can't take in Palestinians, then maybe they should take back ALL of Israel so that the country can be given BACK to the Palestinians. After all, Nazi Germany supposedly was the reason for the Jews taking Palestine to begin with (although the Zionists probably had an imperialist agenda to begin with). Zionism arose because of all the pogroms against Jews in Russia and Europe, INCLUDING GERMANY.

Merkel can no more disclaim responsibility for some of the problem in Palestine/Israel than she can disclaim any responsibility by the West for what is happening in Greece. Greece would not be in the situation it is in if it were not for Western companies like Goldman Sachs, but more to the point, Germany would not be as well-off today as it is if it were not for the Marshall Plan. For Germans to lack any heart towards peoples who are suffering because of war is truly ugly, and ungrateful.

  • 'Suck Iranian ****' --- Netanyahu's Farsi twitter account earns negative reviews
    • He was hoping for something hateful and anti-Semitic that he could use when the Israel Lobby twists the arms of American congressmen to turn down the deal.

    • I'm laughing too hard over this. In addition to getting her marching orders from Sheldon Adelson, she has to wait for a reply from the Iranians she can claim is "anti-Semitic."

    • I guess they're afraid the Iranians will make as big a bunch of fools to the Palestinians as they are making to the Iranians. Sorry, but the Iranians are more civilized that Nutty-yahoo.

  • US press blacks out Israeli defense minister's citation of 'Nagasaki and Hiroshima' as model for dealing with Iran
    • The US justified its war crimes at Hiroshima and Nagasaki by saying that such action saved the lives of American soldiers. This country also cited the Japanese attacks on Pearl Harbor in its first press releases announcing the bombings. Of course, revenge is hardly the behavior of a "Christian" and we claim to be a "Christian nation."
Eisenhower and MacArthur as well as Truman's own Chief of Staff did not feel we needed to bomb the Japanese in order to surrender, but the head of the Manhattan Project, Gen. Groves, silenced them.
The Israelis do not have the excuse that they are fighting a war against an enemy capable of atrocities like the Bataan March and the Rape of Nanking. They cannot claim that Iran ever destroyed a single Israeli town or village, nor can they claim that that bombing Tehran would save Israeli lives.
Instead, they fall back on the tired excuse of the necessity of preemptive strike. That excuse could be used by any nation in any dispute with its neighbors, and has no standing in international law.
The fact of the matter is that Israel is "America's spoiled baby," as Yasser Arafat used to say. The rest of the world is not so supine in the face of Zionist tantrums; Chinese and Russian leaders are not servile tools of Zionist imperialism, and Israeli bombing of Iran could very well precipitate a response from other countries whose leaders are not so pixilated by Jerusalem's whining.

  • A tale of two Susiyas, or how a Palestinian village was destroyed under the banner of Israeli archeology
  • Gutsy progressive congressman Alan Grayson leads a double life
    • It's all part of their propaganda. "Peace" by definition means when Israel owns everything and Arabs are either dead or locked up in ghettoes. That's the kind of peace Israel wants.
