  • More than a feeling: Jews and whiteness in Trump’s America
    • The one perpetrator who has been caught is BLACK and his motive wasn't "cause Jews are not white," it was to frame his girlfriend for a crime. And we don't know the ethnicity of the perpetrators of the other acts. The perpetrators of the other acts could be of ANY background:

"In October, George Washington University freshman Sarah Marshak reported that five swastikas had been drawn on her dorm room door over eight days. Another swastika was drawn on another Jewish student’s door, and on a fence near a university hospital. The subsequent investigation revealed that Marshak, who is Jewish, was responsible for most of them. ...

There have been DOZENS OF CASES like Marshak’s in the last few years, says Sander Gilman, distinguished professor of the liberal arts and sciences at Emory University. "It’s the self-creation of victim status," he says.
People who do this, like Marshak, "need to see oneself as a victim equivalent to other victims.
"In a college culture, victimization is the common coin of the realm, where people think about victims, and Jews are both the ultimate victim and yet in America not thought to be real victims," says Gilman, who also authored "Jewish Self-Hatred" (Johns Hopkins University Press, 1986).
He says that it reflects a lessening of true anti-Semitism in society. "The rarer the anti-Semitism, the more often this occurs," Gilman says, because of reliance among some Jews on status as a victim for their identification." http://jewishweek.timesofisrael.com/the-new-jewish-self-hatred/

Suspect Behind New York's Rash of Swastika Graffiti Is Jewish
The person arrested for a spate of anti-Semitic graffiti in New York is apparently just mad about a business dispute and not on a hate campaign against Jews; in fact, he's Jewish. https://www.theatlantic.com/national/archive/2012/01/suspect-behind-new-yorks-rash-swastika-graffiti-jewish/333028/

Ultra-Orthodox Jewish men arrested for Hitler Holocaust graffiti
Three ultra-Orthodox Jewish men have been arrested on suspicion of spraying graffiti thanking Hitler for the Holocaust at Jerusalem's Yad Vashem Holocaust museum.
The three men were from Jerusalem, Ashdod and Bnei Brak, aged 18, 26 and 37, according to police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld.
"The suspects were questioned in connection with the graffiti in Yad Vashem, and admitted to carrying out the incident, as well as other similar incidents in Jerusalem's Ammunition Hill and a memorial in the Jordan Valley," he said.

  • Sanders delegates recount 'Orwellian' message control by Clinton supporters during DNC
  • Palestinian teen is killed after allegedly killing 13-year-old Jewish girl in settlement
    • Just as "nobody gives a rats ass about context and motive" when Nat Turner and his group chopped the heads off of 10 school children? What would you think of someone who only wants to talk about the decapitations of the children and refuses to mention the context of slavery in 1831? Today the very way we refer to the entire attack gives the context and motive, IT IS KNOWN AS "Nat Turner's slave rebellion." Plus, the wrong of slavery is so clearly understood and accepted as a fact that unfortunately the most dramatic and horrible part of the attack is omitted from nearly all history lessons. We have a warped society that doesn't want it known that in response to wrongs, horrible acts can be perpetrated. I think it is clear that because slavery is now seen as so clearly wrong, there is an agenda to suppress the decapitations so that the public doesn't learn a damn thing. You obviously are a student of this kind of manipulative history hophmi.

  • By putting the word occupation in scare quotes the New York Times demonstrated everything that is wrong with its coverage of Israel/Palestine
    • Here is a history of the changes. The original didn't have the quotes:
"Two of the senator’s appointees to the party’s platform drafting committee, Cornel West and James Zogby, on Wednesday denounced Israel’s occupation of the West Bank and Gaza and said they believed that rank-and-file Democrats no longer hewed to the party’s staunch support of the Israeli government. "

      Then it was changed to:
"Two of the senator’s appointees to the party’s platform drafting committee, Cornel West and James Zogby, on Wednesday denounced Israel’s occupation of the West Bank and said they believed that rank-and-file Democrats no longer hewed to the party’s staunch support of the Israeli government. "
With this "correction: Correction: May 28, 2016
Because of an editing error, an earlier version of this article referred imprecisely to the status of Gaza. Although the United Nations and Gazans themselves regard it as still occupied by Israel, Israel withdrew all its forces and Jewish settlers from Gaza in 2005, while maintaining strict border control."

THEN changed to: "Two of the senator’s appointees to the party’s platform drafting committee, Cornel West and James Zogby, on Wednesday denounced Israel’s “occupation” of the West Bank and Gaza and said they believed that rank-and-file Democrats no longer hewed to the party’s staunch support of the Israeli government. "

And finally changed to without the quotes. History here:

  • Jeffrey Goldberg terrorizes peers into silence over his daily intellectual and moral outrages
  • Israel demands correction from Sanders: it killed only 532 Palestinian children in summer 2014
    • "demands correction"?! They have some balls considering this is what was actually said, hardly a definitive declaration, he is ASKING IF IT IS CORECT! :
Sanders: Look, why don't I support a million things in the world? I'm just telling you that I happen to believe...anybody help me out here, because I don't remember the figures, but my recollection is over 10,000 innocent people were killed in Gaza. Does that sound right?

Daily News: I think it's probably high, but we can look at that.

Sanders: I don't have it in my number...but I think it's over 10,000. My understanding is that a whole lot of apartment houses were leveled. Hospitals, I think, were bombed. So yeah, I do believe and I don't think I'm alone in believing that Israel's force was more indiscriminate than it should have been.

  • The occupation of the American mind, documented
    • I think the movie is good and it highlights important facts. But I do think the history of 1947-1948 could have been better explained in order to highlight key facts such as Chomsky has pointed out: "... by May 1948, when the state of Israel was formally established, about 300,000 Palestinians already had been expelled from their homes or had fled the fighting, and the Zionists controlled a region well beyond the area of the original Jewish state that had been proposed by the UN. Now it's then that Israel was attacked by its neighbors - in May 1948; it's then, after the Zionists had taken control of this much larger part of the region and hundreds of thousands of civilians had been forced out, not before." p132 Understanding Power: The Indispensable Chomsky

I think that is very important to stress, I explain that history at this page, with details of how unfair the UN Partition Proposal was, along with that quote from Chomsky:
      http://www.representativepress.org/IsraelHistory.html

But, as I said, the movie is good. Yet I don't think they should have included a mention by an activist of Ferguson and mix apples and oranges by trying to include the Michael Brown incident. This playlist highlights how that story was not covered accurately by the media and so many people have been mislead about Michael Brown : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KHRqlgCN7BQ&list=PLuf794ZZ4y0uDVqZW0AycL8wFc4si9p-g

The Palestinians have enough problems without people trying to attach inaccurately reported narratives along with their cause. The media did such a horrible job with the Michael Brown story that the DOJ Report even pointed out how badly the media got the story! Look: (from page 83 of the DOJ Report): "The media has widely reported that there is witness testimony that Brown said “don’t shoot” as he held his hands above his head. In fact, our investigation did not reveal any eyewitness who stated that Brown said “don’t shoot.” Most of the media and political activists played the game of ether ignoring, downplaying, misdirecting from or misrepresenting the DOJ Report on the Michael Brown shooting! It was swept under the rug to such a degree that I missed hearing about it when it was released March of last year! the Department of Justice's report that determined that "The evidence establishes that the shots fired by Wilson after Brown turned around were in self-defense." Credit must be given to Jonathan Capehart, a prominent black reporter who took the time to read the DOJ Report and who admitted this about the media's narrative about the shooting: "it was wrong, built on a lie" about the Michael Brown case: "They have also forced me to deal with two uncomfortable truths: Brown never surrendered with his hands up, and Wilson was justified in shooting Brown." see his article: "‘Hands up, don’t shoot’ was built on a lie" in the Washington Post.

  • Hatred of Israel was reported motive for CA attack, but US press politely ignores the story
    • Powerful politicians, journalists and opinion writers have been lying to the American people for years to protect the policy of U.S. support of Israel. You can see what they have been doing in these videos:
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J1bm2GPoFfg&list=PLfrlsC1yJ2dQmLEecJ95P3mcEY6oY2SAl

Thousands of Americans died on 9/11 yet politicians were more worried about protecting the policy of supporting Israel than giving the American people an honest an full account of why we were attacked. The 9/11 Commissioners shamefully suppressed several mentions of Israel in the 9/11 Report and downplayed that main motive and here is the excuse the 2 top commissioners admit to for doing it in a book they wrote after the 9/11 Report was released: "In their view, listing U.S. support for Israel as a root cause of al Qaeda's opposition to the United States indicated that the United States should reassess that policy. " How disgusting is it that these guys think their job was to keep the American people from reassessing the policy of supporting Israel! The Commission failed its duty to fulfill its mandate to "to prepare a full and complete account of the circumstances surrounding the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks" and " to provide recommendations designed to guard against future attacks" because their first priority was protecting the policy of supporting Israel!

And there has been a dramatic pattern of lies and suppression. Thomas Friedman wrote back in 1998 that Ramzi Yousef and Osama bin Laden "have no specific ideological program or demands." Yet this is after Youself sent a letter to the NYT spelling out crystal clear demands after they attacked the WTC in 1993: "This action was done in response for the American political, economical, and military support to Israel the state of terrorism and to the rest of the dictator countries in the region.

      OUR DEMANDS ARE:

1 - Stop all military, economical, and
      political aid to Israel.

2 - All diplomatic relations with Israel
      must stop.

3 - Not to interfere with any of the
      Middle East countries interior affairs."

After his capture, the FBI questioned Ramzi Yousef on the flight back from Pakistan about his motivations for bombing the World Trade Center in 1993.

"Yousef said he took no thrill from killing American citizens and felt guilty about the civilian deaths he had caused. But his conscience was overridden by his desire to stop the killing of Arabs by Israeli troops." "Yousef said he "would like it to be different," but only terrible violence could force this kind of abrupt political change. He said that he truly believed his actions had been rational and logical in pursuit of a change in U.S. policy toward Israel. He mentioned no other motivation during the flight and no other issue in American foreign policy that concerned him." Steve Coll, Ghost Wars p273

And Osama bin Laden had already made it clear by 1998 since two fatwas had been publsiehd plus interviews with the press: This is from a 1997 interview:

REPORTER: Mr. Bin Ladin, you've declared a jihad against the United States. Can you tell us why? And is the jihad directed against the US government or the United States' troops in Arabia? What about US civilians in Arabia or the people of the United States?

BIN LADIN: We declared jihad against the US government, because the US government is unjust, criminal and tyrannical. It has committed acts that are extremely unjust, hideous and criminal whether directly or through its support of the Israeli occupation of the Prophet's Night Travel Land (Palestine). And we believe the US is directly responsible for those who were killed in Palestine, Lebanon and Iraq. The mention of the US reminds us before everything else of those innocent children who were dismembered, their heads and arms cut off in the recent explosion that took place in Qana (in Lebanon). This US government abandoned even humanitarian feelings by these hideous crimes. It transgressed all bounds and behaved in a way not witnessed before by any power or any imperialist power in the world.

Friedman denied specifically that Ramzi Yousef and Osama bin Laden had specific demands. "The super-empowered angry men have no specific ideological program or demands ... Ramzi Yousef, mastermind of the World Trade Center bombing, was a super-empowered angry man. Osama bin Laden is another."

Even after the 9/11 attack, Friedman continued to lie, he claimed, "the fact is that bin Laden never focused on this issue. He only started talking about "Palestine" after September 11, when he sensed that he might be losing the support of the Arab street. " (p311 of Longitudes & Attitudes ) and " Osama bin Laden never mentioned the Palestinian cause as motivating his actions until he felt he was losing support in the Arab world. " (p361-362 of Longitudes & Attitudes ) What Friedman has written is a flat out lie.

The video playlist linked above shows others playing along with this dishonest agenda, including Dan Rather not reading "Israel" from the Reuters newswire on the morning of the 9/11 attack: "Expert: Bin Laden Warned of 'Unprecedented' Attack (Reuters) Sep 11, 11:19 AM ET
Saudi dissident Osama bin Laden warned three weeks ago that he and his followers would carry out an unprecedented attack on U.S. interests for its support of Israel, an Arab journalist with access to him said Tuesday."

  • Pelosi blasts Netanyahu speech as 'insult to intelligence of U.S.', Amanpour calls it 'dark, Strangelovian'
    • Obama's comments highlight how is is also part of the problem. Obama said this about Netanyahu's speech: "He also pointed out the fact that Iran has repeatedly threatened Israel and engaged in the most venomous of anti-Semitic statements, and no one can dispute that."

Could someone tell me what in the world Obama is talking about? Both the part where he claimed Iran supposedly "repeatedly threatened Israel" and the part "engaged in the most venomous of anti-Semitic statements."

Obama instructed that "no one can dispute that" and it looks like the obedient press made sure to follow that instruction.

  • (Updated) In Photos: Worldwide protest against Israeli attack on Gaza
  • Dear American media, I’m asking you to simply tell what’s happening in Gaza
    • They should but the media is so biased it won't even report basics like that Israel is illegally expanding into the occupied territories. Speaking of media bias fro Israel, see my latest video: Reporter Breaks Down while Reporting on Israeli Killing of Palestinian Children ‪http://goo.gl/MUrqo1 ‬ (please share that video)
The U.S. media's won't even go as far in honestly telling the public about the situation as has White House Coordinator Philip Gordon: "We consider settlements illegitimate and an impediment to progress on peace negotiations. … Unilateral annexation of West Bank territories populated by Israelis is wrong, illegal, and a recipe for Israel’s isolation."

  • Goldberg's back pages: abusive statements about Palestinians, Saddam link to Al Qaeda, and Iraq war is 'act of profound morality'
    • Goldberg really showed how devious he is willing to be when he started talking about "whispering temptations" when asked directly what are the issues that enraged the terrorists who attacked us on 9/11, point blank he was asked WHY did they get so angry that they crashed planes into buildings. His performance on this panel was really disgusting, along with the others on the panel and the moderator. I mean, this really is a betrayal of the American people to try to dupe us about why our lives are being put at risk! See Goldberg in action in these 2 videos
