I hope that opponents of a two-state solution who argue that it is an inherently racist position are also registering their continued protest of the dissolution of Czechoslovakia on January 1, 1993. The Czechs and the Slovaks should be forced to live in one state, should they not? By the logic applied to Israelis and Palestinians, the fact that the Slovaks and the Czechs chose to separate from each other rather than remain within the common national border established at the Treaty of Versailles is a historical outrage that can only be detrimental to peace and human rights.
