Romney is anti-Israel, NJDC ad says

The National Jewish Democratic Council has slammed Romney for his statement a week ago that when it comes to Israel, he would “do the opposite” of Obama as president. You can see from the ad above and from the statement below, that the NJDC is positioning Obama to the right of Romney. And implicit in the comments about the U.N. at the NJDC site are support for Israel’s endless colonization of the West Bank.

Instead of what President Obama has done, would he not:

…Match Obama’s unprecedented record of voting with Israel 100% of the time at the United Nations?

…Have a top-to-bottom policy of standing up consistently and passionately for Israel at the United Nations like Obama – especially considering that certain members of his party see the UN as either pointless or something the U.S. should draw away from?

If Romney were to “do the opposite” on any of these things, Israel would face more security, diplomatic and other challenges….

For the sake of Israel’s security, Romney must clarify his statement immediately and explain what he would really do differently, if anything.

Nothing new here. The only direction is able to move is to the right.

Obama’s slogan in his campaign for re-election, “Yes we con!”

Well it seems to me Obama personally disagrees with Israeli policies. And it’s true we haven’t seen during Obama’s term the kind of massacre that happened in Gaza during Bush’s term. Plus, the Republicans are more gung-ho for war with Iran and considering the stupidity of invading Iraq, it seems the US might have already invaded Iran or attacked it more with a Republican president.

    Wouldn’t you agree?

If you have no actual evidence that Obama disagrees with what Israel is doing, then you are projecting. That keeps you from facing reality and from any obligation to change it.

As far as Europeans are concerned there are no real differences between R and D. Iraq, Iran, Israel/Palestine … did the Democrats step in for int’l law or human rights? No, they didn’t. Will they do so in the near future? Insha’llah — but I doubt it.

Jewish lobby within Democratic Party is celebrating the promises of continuation of illegal US policies against Palestine and against Iran. Earlier we have heard how Biden and US military and even Clinton have complained that Israeli activities are fulling Arab /muslim anger. We also know that Jewish lobby has claimed how they have got powerful people inside administration to shape US policy. In addition Obama administration when tried any route to the Arab/Iran crisis that was not to the liking of Israel and to the Jewish lobby, has been vehemently opposed by the both who in turn through AIPAC/WINEP/ have forced congress to refuse those choices.
When one connect the dots, one get a picture of what going on is nothing but what has been articulated as a promise by Romney that he would ask Israel for advice pertaining to ME affairs before deciding any response which was more or less was confirmed by other Republicans hopefuls as well . Romeny wont do opposite. He will claim that he is doing it. Obama has always been reluctant to claim and this is not the only area where he behaves no better than Cheney-Bush-Wolfowitz-Feith gangs. He just does not want to brag about it.
Asides this digression one thing that needs to be kept in mind that when in future one reminds the world how Jewish lobby has managed to force US do things that are illegal, costly detrimental to US interest ( every things except the holocaust in this ad ) ,he will be called worst example of anti semite.

Any more fatuous antisemitic nonsense about the “Jewish lobby?”

Ironically, the only thing I wouldn’t do in the litany of ‘opposites’ is ‘promote the holocaust denial’… Other than that, all else is exactly what needs to happen…! Maybe it’s just me tho…?
