The demonizer of Islam, Pamela Geller has struck again. Priscilla Read of Jewish Voice for Peace sent me this photograph of an ad at a Metro-North station in Ossining, N.Y. Chuck Bell took the photo late last month.

Read does not know how widespread this ad is. But she notes: “I believe Geller has posted this in response to an ad posted in March by a group called American Muslims for Palestine that referred to apartheid in conjunction with Israel: ‘End Apartheid Now. Stop U.S. Aid to Israel.'”
They must wonder who the fruitcake with the ads is on the Metro North Line.
GELLER: “Stop US aid to Islamic states.”
Wow! How about, stop USA’s aid to ALL religious states! Look what Israel does w.r.t. the “rape” of Palestine!
But, yes, let’s turn the M/E into even more turmoil by ending aid to Saudi Arabia (don’t sell them airplanes, take the USA’s soldiers out of there, and above all, don’t buy their oil). And stop aid to Egypt (so it’ll get really, really tetchy with Israel).
And stop all that aid to Iran! Gees I hate all that American aid to Iran!
Save a lot of money for the USA, hunh?
Oh thats funny, since it is the israeli-lobby that want US to support corrupt leaders in the gulf just because they are silent on Israeli occupation.
These xenophobic lobby-groups portray their ignorance once again.
First of all: I think she’s doing it wrong. How is that Apartheid?
Secondly: So we should punish all Muslims (or all Muslim countries) for what some Muslim countries do? That is how the Israelis treat the Palestinians, so it makes sense for Geller I suppose.
Anyway, by all means end aid to Israel and the Arab world. It would still be a step forward. The aid to Egypt is basically a bribe to keep the peace with Israel anyway.
Right under “stop US aid to Islamic states”, perhaps someone could add: as it only serves to prop up brutal dictators in exchange for their complacency towards Israeli apartheid.
