Justin Trudeau’s choice

Recent opinion polling shows that Canadians support sanctions against Israel for its violations of international law; but the Liberal Party government of Justin Trudeau is nonetheless supporting Conservative resolutions aimed at condemning supporters of Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS).

    Terrific cartoon, Carlos!

Trudeau could become the best ever PM of Canada and distinguished leader/exemplar of justice if he would listen to “his people” and start the sanction train that Israel so richly deserves.

How I wish that the majority of Americans could evolve beyond their steadfast and wilfully blind support for the wicked atrocities of Israel.

In 2011, Jews represented 1.2% of the total Canadian population.

Disappointing. Just like many US leaders, Trudeau choses to help the zionists rather than listen to the people. Are leaders feeling intimidated so much by this occupier and willing to ignore their constituents?

The Israel supporting world should realize that they endanger all Jews, including and especially the ones for total justice towards the Palestinians, the rights of the Palestinians, the freedom of the Palestinians, the surrender of Palestinian land to the Palestinians, the right of the Palestinians to come and go in and out of their country, the «Palestine» the League of Nations and then the UN had wrongly partitioned in three intercommunicating territories: 47% for about 2 million Palestinians and 53% for some 2 hundred thousand Zionist Jews whose goal was to occcupy all of the Palestine. Unfortunately, the humanist, just Jews are being pointed at just as if they were Zionists.

Would there have been, could there have been a BDS against Germany and Hitler??? And those who would have opposed Germany and Hitler would have been vilified too?

    Well, not exactly.
An encouraging survey did show that a large majority of Canadians found boycotting Israel because of its settlements is “reasonable”. They did not say, (and were not asked) if they support the 3 demands of the BDS movement. In my experience, getting Canadians to support the 3 BDS demands, especially the demand of the refugees for their “right to return”, is a lot more difficult.

Criticizing Israel is (probably) still political suicide for a Canadian politician. Jack Layton wouldn’t do it – he wasn’t stupid! – and Justin Trudeau won’t either. There will come a time when it will NOT be political suicide, and I am doing what I can to make sure our leaders know that when that time comes, they have Jewish allies.
