Greenwald seems to disagree with you on McMasters. I don’t know who is right. On his larger point I agree with Glenn. Much of the opposition to Trump comes from people who don’t trust him to invade or intervene as much as they want him to. I must admit that the developments are vertiginous and I’m not sure what to make of them. Trump’s agenda was deeply islamophobic, and the goal was to provoke terror attacks to use as a pretext to install a police state, and purge the ‘incompetents’ and the leakers.
