I can imagine his frustration. I found it hard crossing after being in Syria before it all kicked off and I used the Allenby bridge. I definitely recommend though you take the time if you can to visit Jerusalem. At least spend a day and go to Damascus Gate and get the Arab bus to Bethlehem and visit the West Bank and see for yourself too as it isn’t what you expect from reading the newspapers. All I found was incredible history and fantastically friendly people considering the daily grind they go through. This incident in the article happened once. Imagined if it happened every day you went to work. If you can’t visit then do a google image search on “Bethlehem check point wall” to see a Palestinians reward for not firing rockets. People will not put up with and do not deserve to live like this for as long as it has been happening. I’m surprised we don’t read more stories of people going off their rocker the same as they do in the US as daily life in the West Bank would be ten times more frustrating.
