This is amazing. The use of the term “Ziosplaining” is brilliant. I thought the same thing when I read the review in yesterday’s New York Times. The fact that the book even got published–when it’s not even directed to a real, live, human Palestinian, but a hypothetical one–speaks volumes about Halevi’s inability to truly engage. In this light, the book ultimately is meaningless and does nothing constructive other than to help liberal Zionists feel good about themselves, as Cohen states.
