I was in Palestine in September, based in Hebron and can concur with every word of your report. The daily humiliations and harassment visited upon Palestinians by Israeli forces (IDF, Border Police etc..) and settlers has to be seen to be believed.
Amongst the worst things was the twice daily use of tear gas and stun grenades lobbed at primary school children going to and from school. This being the Israeli response to small groups of little boys throwing pebbles at the Sulamaya and Qeitoun checkpoints in Hebron. God knows what inhaling this much tear gas on such a regular basis does to small and growing bodies. No studies have been made. What the psychological damage is, I dread to imagine.
