did read this…but international political reality has a way of not letting one person’s, or one country’s vision, not control and determine things forever…we won’t be around ourselves in a hundred or two hundred years to see, but I don’t think this Zionist ‘vision’ will be either…one thing we might be around for is to see if any Palestinian leadership will actually acquiesce to a situation of an internationally recognized sovereignty that is a travesty of sovereignty, given the dangers to itself from the resistance from its own people…all of Arafat’s acquiescence in Oslo (“The Morning After”, Edward Said) notwithstanding, he still refused to sign on the bottom line at Clinton’s sham Camp David summit. An interesting question is HOW is Israel going to continue to deal with, over the decades, increasing international pressure, given increasingly horrible imagery resulting from its apartheid control over an increasing Palestinian majority denied equality in a de facto one state reality. We can see how it deals with it NOW, but things are only changing for the worse. I repeat, if you see a better way out of this, then please enlighten us. If you are just proposing that all Jews suddenly wake up and behave the opposite of how they are behaving now, you are proposing nothing but a pip dream. But as things continue to worsen from a human rights standpoint, we can expect more young Jews in the US to continue to peel off from monolithic unquestioning support for Israel. The latter is already happening. I try to peck away at these people, and their Gentile supporters, whenever I see an opportunity to do so. Check out my FB page. Any other constructive suggestions from you about how to do so, or what to do, would be welcome, but use a constructive tone and not a know-it-all arrogant tone.
