When Steve Rosen is comfortable writing a long posting at Foreign Policy in praise of Barack Obama’s Israeli and Mideast policies ("Is Barack Obama More AIPAC than J Street?" [Yes]) it’s time to admit that banking on this Administration is counter-productive. (I hate to say I told you so–even before he entered the office.)

    Some day in Fantasyland, will arise an American leader who will stop at nothing to achieve justice (in terms of USA foreign policy in the Middle East, let alone US domestic policy), the only hope for peace.     Obama, the hope and change candidate now has his highest poll rankings for his handling of the war on terror

    Immediate no-penalty access to IRA funds for regular consumers to help out in a tough economy: abandoned immediately

    health care reform: compromised beyond repair

    funds for nuclear plants: yes

    increased funding for nuclear weapons: yes

    strong action to stop israeli settlement building, land-grabs and restart the peace process: no

    aggressive investigations/prosecutions into lies and manipulations that led to Iraq war: no

    aggressive investigations and push for regulatory changes which led to financial crisis: no

    … and on it goes

      Yep. Thanks for the videos, VR. I guess he decided that neither of his parents were role models–he struck out on his own, solely concerned with himself and his immediate family, yet pretending to represent the human race as a whole–actually,
      he relied solely on his looks for that; the rest is all selfish to the core. He really didn’t take any gamble. So there he is. Much more conscious than Shrub, but pratically, there is no difference. What a creep.
