Senate is selling out our free speech right to the highest bidder, say American Muslims for Palestine

American Muslims for Palestine has just posted a great new video on the Israel Anti-Boycott Act, Senate 720, making clear the stakes in this legislation: The US Congress is selling out our right to free speech to the highest bidder, and to lobbyists. What could be more clear? These Americans say, No. Or on twitter, #SayNoto720

The video, posted by AMP’s New Jersey chapter, calls on viewers to get in touch with the 47 Senate sponsors, soon. What have we got to lose? Just our free speech rights. Senator Cory Booker is apparently listening!

No one rational believes that AMP or any BDS org cares a whit about free speech.

no one rational would believe that statement.

I would make the point more strongly. Zionists have long tried to control and to censor discourse over Zionism, and bigoted Jews did same with respect to Judaism long before Zionism.

        Consider the Eisenmenger case (1704!!!).

I don’t understand why anyone tolerates such crap, which has over 300 years of history.

Of course, one thing I’ve learned since coming to the USA.

Americans don’t know history and really don’t care about it.

Thanks all for proving my point. Supporting BDS is the same thing as opposing free speech. And it always has been, even if overt antisemites like YoniFalic believe otherwise.

You appear to be Zionistically re-defining “free speech” to mean the “right” of Jews to do unto others acts of injustice and immorality (e.g., oppression, colonialism, (war) crimes and supremacism) they would not have others do unto them.

This makes “opposing free speech” the right thing – the just and moral thing – to do.

“hophmi” the chicken-soup hawk strikes again.

An “overt antisemite”? Are you crazy, “hophmi”. “Yoni” was drafted into the IDF, and fought in combat for Israel. Have you, “hophmi”?

Has Zionism ever demanded so much as a single thing from you, “hophmi”? A single freakin’ thing? No wonder you think it is such a great deal.
