Most of McCain’s Jewish Braintrust Has Ties to JINSA, of Iraq War Fame

The Forward has an irresponsible piece of journalism about McCain's Jewish supporters. I use that harsh term because while the reporting is interesting and contains some new facts, there is no effort to talk about the goals of McCain's supporters re Israel/Jerusalem. The other night Giuliani said that McCain is for an undivided Jerusalem. That's nowhere in this piece. Though to its credit, it demonstrates that three out of the five men it mentions have connections to JINSA, the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs, which the Forward admits became a haven to neocons. There is no mention of JINSA's goals re Jerusalem, no mention of the fact that Colin Powell said that the Iraq war was hatched in good measure by JINSA. The piece demonstrates the state of Jewish introspection visavis Iraq–heads in the sand. You'd think that the Forward might have challenged any of these guys' commitment to the two-state solution.
