The Forward reports that Michelle Obama is related to a Chicago rabbi who is a black Israelite, Capers Funnye. "Obama is supposed to be close to Rabbi Arnold Jacob Wolf, who was Hillel
Rabbi when I was at Yale," says Joachim Martillo. "Because Wolf is radioactive among certain
segments of American Jews–ala Robert Malley– Obama probably will not make much of his relationship." Wolf's book is here.
