Israeli settlers are waging court battles to evict dozens of Palestinians from homes in an East Jerusalem neighborhood, a move threatening to widen Israel’s rift with U.S. President Barack Obama over settlements.
They are trying to reclaim plots of land in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood which they say were owned by Jews before Israel’s creation in 1948. They have already won property rights to six Arab homes, whose residents were subsequently evicted.
Palestinians and an Israeli rights group say settlers are trying to evict a further 27 Arab families from 28 buildings.
“Stop ethnic cleansing,” reads a sign erected outside the home of Maher Hanun, a 51-year-old father of three, who faces a July 19 deadline to evacuate the structure in Sheikh Jarrah, near the walled Old City of Jerusalem.
Such acts could cloud Israel’s relations with its main ally, the United States.

I have seen the census figures. They are frequently brought by IslamoFascist propagandists liks Abu Shafiq dishonestly, separating the East and West Banks of Palestine. Jews have always been a majority in the Holy Land. Note: The Islamic Ottoman Empire controlled Jerusalem – all of it – for 7 centuries until WW I. In that time they did NOTHING to build, expand or glorify Jerusalem. Jerusalem has NO significance to Islam. Then, when Jordan had the Eastern part of the city for 2 decades, it did NOTHING about it. Didn't move the capital there, didn't build it, didn't care. The Islamic world completely ignored Jerusalem for centuries – until the JEWS got hold of it. Then they started re-writing history. The only significance of Jerusalem, like Israel, to the Islamic world is in using it to fight Jews. You really do have a problem with facts.

If the Muslims occupied by western military had their own jets, cluster bombs and white phosphorus, maybe some SAMs, I guarantee there won't be any more suicide bombings. Then they can kill people from the air and keep their own lives intact, just like us good western christians. In fact, Hezbollah didn't use suicide attacks during the 2006 war. The Vietnamese resistance also used death volunteers and of course you know about the kamikaze pilots. It's a joke to tell us "suicide-homicide" was invented in the Islamic world.

Israel has more Arabs inside it than half a century ago, the ARabs world is now ethnically pure of Infidel Dhimmi Jews. So who is guilty of ethnic cleanising? Bigot. Go to Morris and Pappe. You allege that Arabs sell land to Jews and later kill them (early 20th C) or move away and cry dispossession (late 20 C). Since you provide zero evidence, it follows that a single case of the Israeli army taking land by force and ignoring the proof of ownership would disprove your claim.
