I think one of the reasons a lot of Lefty-Jews who are infatuated with growing the State in the West and possibly to a global authority are unhappy with Israel is because it actually undermines the moral authority of their ethnicity due to its naked and institutionalized racism. It makes left-liberal Western Jews look like phonies and hypocrites by simple association. In that way, Israel has become a liability, and so must be destroyed. We saw a number of Jewish Bolsheviks go this route, too, with regard to their former religion. If religious Israelis would pull their heads out of their asses, they would see that the religions of Islam and Christianity could actually be allies against the Godless Statist Leviathan that is consuming the West and will consume them, too. But this would mean ending their wars of expansionism against Islam, and working as partners with Muslims and Christians. Their land-greed, which necessitates racism, will be their undoing.

No matter what Rahm Emanuel says, his view of what is best for Israel will have an effect on any decisions he makes, or advice he gives. It's not a requirement for U.S. officials to give a damn about Israel.
In just one day, the day following Pearl Harbor, over 60,000 Americans of German descent were rounded up for interrogation. Our government ordered the arrest and internment of thousands of German Americans into federal concentration camps during Both WW1 and WW2. There were ten such camp and many more screening and feeding camps under the US War Relocation Authority. Thousands more were released after signing a loyalty oath and permanent muzzle order (The US Army needed troops). None were ever actually charged, indicted, or found guilty of any criminal act.

As for self hating jews….I can remember when I first learned the facts and started complaining about Israel back in 2001..back in those days any gentile or jew criticizing Israel was a lonely voice in the wilderness. ..having every invective and slur under the sun hurled at them. I said back then the tide of opinion on Israel would turn because Israel wasn't being punished for what it was doing and therefore had no incentive to stop and would only esculate it's agression till that famous last straw was reached. Unfortunately it's taken 8 years and thousands more dead in Palestine and a million cluster bombs in Lebanon to get here and get a president who would call a spade a spade.

Just honor International law we have subscribed to; honor our own laws allowing military supply to other countries only for real self-defense; cut off the outrageous foreign aid to Israel or at least place some conditions on it as we do with every other country–and monitor that by requiring our own verification; ditto regarding NGO status conditions and their violations. In short, if the US POTUS and government simply lived up to the USA's ethical laws now in place–the settlements would be gone in short order. That's the shame of it for responsible American citizens.

I think that when one is discussing zionism and political Judaism, one has to always remind themselves that Judaism by its nature is bipolar in the sense that it sets up a world view where there are Jews, and non-Jews, and the Jewish god treats them differently. One can argue until the cows comes home about whether being god's chosen people is a blessing or a curse, and I am sure that many average SS men felt the same way. For every Einstein there has been a Madoff. No giant leaders have ever addressed this issue in the whole history of Man except those who came down on one side or the other.
