Brian Baird compared his own children to three slaughtered in Gaza

Gosh, I didn’t see this. But it’s news now as it will be news when they replay this in 30 years to our grandchildren. Brian Baird on the floor of the House saying he has twin four-year-old boys and then turning to a photo of three massacred Palestinian children and saying, These children deserve to have someone ask why they died! Unlike most of my colleagues, Baird goes on, I have been to Gaza. And there is much truth in the report by that distinguished jurist, Richard Goldstone. "Give justice, true justice, a chance to be heard."

See Keith Ellison granting Baird more time. These brave Congresspeople are the future. Donna Edwards too. Welcome the future, America, don’t shy away…

Just reading an article that says “the Jews” are responsible for 40% of the donations to the Democratic Party. This is how to support the few politicians who dare stand up for the truth.

  2. Gellian says:

This is a brave man, a moral man. We should all give him whatever support we can.

  3. Nolan says:

This feels like the twilight zone. That a US representative would stand on the floor of the house and show pictures of killed Palestinian civilians is unprecedented, isn’t?

I just called Baird’s staff member and conveyed the message that there are many US citizens who agree with his POV on the I-P situation but they had no voice due to the
realities of the political power situation in the USA at present; and I told her we think he is a courageous part of the wave of the future and I wanted her to know there are many of us. I also told her about the Mondoweiss site–”Get a pencil or pen, write it down, and we are many, not few.” She said she did. I did this because Baird cannot be sent an email as his website is limited to his own constituency. The other way is to write him snail mail. But the phone worked well in communication.

And when they see your announcement that you are a (your words) “A white bigot” and read your little analysis of Obamacare, they will know they have come to the right place.

And you are in your own words a Moose with pure antlers. I notice you didn’t really
comment on my analysis of Obama care; maybe you should study Obamacare and then the applicable stats regarding its impact on the USA population–unless you think all legislation is never a zero sum game. If you think that, you should study the causes of historical rebellions.

Obamacare is a gift to the insurance industry – penalties if you don’t buy a policy that makes them richer while they profit of pain and suffering and death. Single-payer is the only solution.

Peeling back the fingers of zionist power from their wholly-owned subsidiary of israel – our Congress – will be quite some job – Baird’s chip at the wall is but one of many many required.

It’s refreshing to see these issues addressed here. There’s a ton of info to digest on this. AIPAC and hasbara in general will have a difficult time to keeping up.

  8. Cliff says:

These politicians won’t hold office for long. The Jewish Thought Police will soon rule them as antisemitic Holocaust denying terrorists.

They’ll slowly become excluded from all the stupid ritual gatherings of our false-paradigm political system (Dem/Repub) and eventually fade into obscurity. Ethnocentric Jews and Zionists can just keep buying and propping up more politicians to replace these honest people (who are only honest within certain parameters – it’s all a game after all).
