Maybe I’m being overly optimistic but I’m rather hoping that in 2010 there are enough Americans who are so thoroughly disgusted with both mainstream parties that we see a burst of independent Congressmen when the elections run their course. Given the helpless way you’ve discussed military matters in the past, I feel the need to offer my aid. An F-16 is an airplane–it uses jet engines. It has a range of over 2000 miles, therefore it “can reach” any target, civilian or otherwise, in Europe, the Mideast, Africa, or South/Central Asia.
I daresay Europe, Africa and Asia will have to bear that in mind when they think about Israel’s undeclared nuclear arsenal.
Africa has already seen the might of the IAF(in a defensive role). Chaos you should read about Entebbe, I’d like to see how that is spun by you and your cronies.

Germany, which believes it has a historic responsibility to help Israel because of the mass murder of Jews in World War II, donated the first two submarines after the 1991 Gulf War.
It split the cost of the third with the Jewish state….

It achieves the 2000 mile range by jettisoning its weapons and using the freed weight with extra fuel tanks. Do you see the problem OJ? — it may reach a target after 2000 miles but it is useful as a weapon only as a kamikazee.

I think chaos explained it most clearly — you are one dumb ass. The F16 can extend its effective range beyond 340 mi only by refueling. OJ was totally full of it to say that the F16 could deliver its weapons at 2000 miles. This does not mean that Israel does not have the ability to deliver bombs into Iran (1200 miles from Israel) but it does mean that they have to overcome some serious logistics. It means refueling with relatively slowly moving tankers for the operation. These tankers can be shot down.
Don’t mind yonira, he’s too busy making excuses for Israeli state-sanction terrorists going on assassination sprees in Europe to get the math right.
