Maybe they could schedule Finkelstein to speak next, “for balance.”
they should call it: white washing decades of violent zionism, israel demonizes itself.
When a nation manages to, quite literally, produce corpses of babies who burned to death from chemical fires that you cannot put out with water, is it possible to make them out to be more of a demon than they already are?
I, once upon a long time ago in the 80′s, did a summer course at Bard’s. In those days, all the students were bad-mouthing Reaganomics and smoking weed by the Hudson and outside bars in down town Red Hook, laughing at Nancy Reagan’s infamous social campaign motto: Just Say No.
Boy have times changed. I bet the kids at Bard don’t even smoke weed no more.
Bet they all have political ambitions now instead of aspirations towards artistic greatness and immortality.
Went to a party during last years holiday season of a dear friend whose kid graduate from Bard in the last four years. The array of fine cheeses, crackers etc was clearly costly. I quietly mentioned this to the son of the hostess (the graduate of Bard) and he responded that he was a committed free food dumpster diver “fREEGAN” and that all of the food (never opened before the party) was from the Dumpters at Whole Foods and Trader Joes (huge wheel of brie) He and I laughed and I congratulated him.
Plenty of lefties still graduated from Bard. Clearly some of them may be Peps (progressive except for Palestine.
Here is what is happening at Hampshire

When it comes to ‘demonization,’ the Lobby wins hands down. Now they’re demonizing the French railroads — I’m not making this up!

Whatever the truth may be about these long-ago events in Europe, they had nothing to do with the United States.
You’d think it would be enough that the US warps its entire foreign policy on behalf of Israel. But no –even our government procurement policies must be disfigured to carry on ancient vendettas brought here by vindictive immigrants.
They’re simply going after France because it has pledged to supply Lebanon with military hardware after the US froze all aid to Lebanon. And it’s not even heavy military hardware, mostly small arms. But, still, that got Israel and its defenders riled up.
Using the Holocaust for political extortion is nothing new to Israel. That tactic is its bread and butter.
