On Tuesday Hillary Clinton gave a speech about free speech and the internet in Washington–it begins with some piety about Egypt pulling the plug on the internet– and former CIA agent Ray McGovern stood up with his back turned to her as a form of silent protest of American policy in the Middle East. He was seized by two cops and roughed up and taken from the hall. You can see his injuries here. As he was taken from the hall he said, “So this is America?!”
