Dennis Ross of the Obama administration (and formerly the chairman of the Jewish People Policy Planning Institute, which deplores intermarriage) is speaking at J Street’s conference in D.C. next week. He is now being pressured by the Emergency Committee for Israel, Bill Kristol’s neocon sock, about what to say at this “anti-Israel echo chamber.” I would note that the letter mentions the Goldstone Report five times. “Will you repudiate the Goldstone Report?” I think this is the lobby’s greatest fear, that the Goldstone Report has life in it and will become the pressure point for the new focus on international law.
