Over the past three weeks the Great March of Return in Gaza has been met with an overwhelming Israeli military response. During this time Israel has killed nearly 40 protesters. In addition, Israel has used massive amounts of tear gas in an attempt to quash the protests.
Below are a series of photos that demonstrate the creativity and resilience of the Palestinian protesters demanding their rights in Gaza. Due to the ongoing siege many common materials are not available, but much like ‘Onion boy’ Mohammed Ayyash, the people of Gaza are finding a way.
