"I was looking at Loewenstein's great pictures of the Tel Aviv fest and noticed this banner– 
"and was wondering if '100 Shaloms' is a Hebrew expression or idiom of
some sort.
"In Arabic, a common greeting is 'ya meet hala' which
literally translates to 'o' one hundred hellos.' Just curious."
