The Israeli consul is selling ‘brand Israel’, but very few in one upper west side synagogue are buying

On Wednesday evening, May 9, Ido Aharoni, the Israeli consul general in New York, spoke at Ansche Chesed, a Conservative synagogue on New York’s Upper West Side to which Philip Harris’s family belongs. He was pleasantly surprised on several counts.
