is it just a star of David, or a flag?

Says a smart friend: Look carefully at the Oliphant cartoon. He uses the clouds and
the
ground as bars to make it clear its the Israeli flag, not simply the Star of David–thus not antisemitic. Without the bars, it says something about Jews. As the flag, it's a critique of Israel, not Jews. Also the soldier could be any goose stepping fascist, not necessarily Nazi. Considering the next foreign minister has been widely called facist, and recommended nuking Gaza, I see no reason to criticize it
