That's a bit overdone, isn't it? After all Zionism did have a big
impact on Jews, especially since 48 and even more so since 67. And this
often manifests itself as conflation. Recognizing this is not the same
as "conflating" the two. Indeed conflating depends on not recognizing
the politics of this impact.
