See no Gaza

Astonishing piece in the JPost saying that the German media are freezing Israeli army chief of staff Gabi Ashkenazi on his visit to Europe. He’d expected lots of coverage, is getting none. This is the wages of Gaza. Jeff Blankfort, who passed this along, notes that Europe is appalled by Gaza and isolating Israel over it, but the mood hasn’t caught up here. This site still hasn’t gotten to Victor Kovner’s thrilling speech at the end of the J Street conference last night, which while excellent on the idea that Jews must criticize Israel, said not a word about Gaza.
