More evidence that the lobby is beginning to break apart in internecine battle. The American Jewish Committee, hardliners if ever there were any, goes after Bill Kristol’s neoconservative group The Emergency Committee for Israel, for its full-page ad attacking Obama on Israel.
I think John Heilemann’s article in New York Magazine this week declaring Obama the best friend Israel ever had is further sign of the rage felt by the Democratic side of the lobby toward the Republican extremists.
