Young people with American accents declare they won’t be ethnically cleansed from their ‘native land’ (Jerusalem)

Rimon Club, an American Zionist organization in the Bay Area, has posted this inspiring video. “We are rediscovering our roots, our deep Middle Eastern roots…. We are the ancient Israelites.” I remember in college when all my reggae albums had songs about Rastafarians being the Israelites. At least they were adults! The music on this video is not quite as good, and better suited to indoctrination. Some excerpts:

We are freedom fighters.

We travel the world and spread the light of truth every day.

We know what exile means.

We remember Roman occupation.

We remember the Muslim conquest and the Christian crusades

We will never forget the utter silence of the world

We will not stand by and watch our homeland be attacked.

We will protect Jerusalem, the liberated Jewish capital for 3000 years.

And the Golan Heights.

We refuse to have the history of our homeland hijacked by the mainstream media

We refused to be ethnically cleansed from our birthplace.

[Our ancestors] made the desert bloom.

We will fight against anti-Semitism, against persecution and delegitimization of our ancient homeland.

Our native land…

We will protect Israel. All of Israel.

We are proud, to love Israel.

We will stand up. We will take this to the courts and to the streets.

We are young Jews and we get to decide what that means!
