‘People’s red line’ surrounds the White House to demand end of Gaza genocide

On June 8, an estimated 100,000 people formed a two-mile “people’s red line” surrounding the White House in Washington, D.C. to protest the genocide in Gaza and the U.S. role in the mass murder of Palestinians.

On June 8, an estimated 100,000 people converged on Washington, D.C. to form a two-mile “people’s red line” completely surrounding the White House to protest the genocide in Gaza and Joe Biden’s central role in the mass murder of Palestinians.

June 8 marked the eight month mark of Israel’s genocidal attack on Gaza and demonstrators held a two-mile long red banner filled with the over 36,000 names of Palestinians who have been martyred since October. The banner was also a reference to the “red line” the Biden administration promised to enforce against the Israeli invasion of Rafah but then abandoned.

The action was supported by over 200 organizations, with buses departing from dozens of cities as far away as Iowa, Florida, Indiana and Kentucky. Organizers says the massive action initiates a nationwide effort at the local, state, and national level to draw “red lines” around all supporters and apologists of the genocide taking place in Gaza.

“Today was a historic mobilization to challenge the genocidal war criminal who lives in the White House. The same day that we took to the streets, the U.S.-equipped Israeli military carried out one of the worst atrocities yet with the massacre of over 200 Palestinians in the Nuseirat refugee camp,” said Miriam Osman of the Palestinian Youth Movement. “These atrocities only take place because of the immense military and political support Joe Biden provides the Israeli regime. We demand an arms embargo now.”

Clear over and over again Biden/Blinken do not value the lives of Palestinians. They clearly value the lives of Israeli Jews. 1200 Israeli’s brutally slaughtered by Hamas on Oct 7th. 37,000 Palestinians brutally massacred by Israel since Oct 7th. Tens of thousands more Palestinians slaughtered by Israel over the decades. At a 30 to 1 ratio in this horrific slaughter. 1 Israeli’s life to 30 Palestinians lives. In the saving of four of the hostages the ratio is 70 Palestinians slaughtered for one Israeli Jew’s life. So horrendous.

Now we have the mainstream media repeating this ceasefire agreement is all dependent upon Hamas’s decision. While Netanyahu has NEVER said publicly he agrees to the plan.

Did the “paper of record,” the New York Times, cover this? They were silent about 400,000 people marching in support of Gaza in January.
