The student intifada draws its conviction from Palestinian and anticolonial resistance.

What Aaron Bushnell did was an act of fierce, principled love in a situation of extreme desperation. It unflinchingly declared that even in the heart of the empire the lies of Zionism no longer hold. 

Our panel for a conference on equity and antiracism at CUNY’s Lehman College was canceled because it included the word “intifada” in the title. Instead of promoting antiracism, CUNY participates in the demonization of Palestinian resistance.
