We call on all Jews to reject the politics of Jewish exceptionalism and to hold our communities accountable for supporting and enabling Israel’s genocidal and wholly unjustifiable war.

The masks have fallen. Israel’s new government, supported by far-right parties with outright racist tendencies, represents one step further in the repression between the river and the sea.

We deplore Israel’s violation of sacred space during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan. We are horrified by the mob violence and the paramilitary police who enable it. This is not a ‘clash’ between two opinions, this is occupation, apartheid, and settler-colonialism at work. We call for an end to Israel’s impunity. These are crimes. We must begin to respond to them as crimes.
