Activists with Manchester Action Palestine have shut down a building owned by the Israeli defense contractor Elbit for three days. Holding up on the roof, they hung large banners that read: “UK Stop Arming Israel.”

Manchester Palestine Action took action Sunday in the Puma department of British retailer Sports Direct to call for a global boycott of Puma for sponsoring the Israeli Football Association, which includes teams in Israel’s illegal settlements on occupied Palestinian land.

Four activists were arrested at a protest outside of a UK bulldozer manufacturer where they shut down deliveries for the morning: “Netanyahu said Khan-Al- Ahmar would be destroyed before the Israeli Elections in April 2019, and JCB and Caterpillar Bulldozers have been used to clear the ground there.”
