Palestinian Youth Movement: With love, solidarity, and a tenacious hunger for freedom, we salute Palestinian women today and every day, and we commit our lives to political and social liberation as one people and one struggle.

In April a delegation of Palestinian youth headed to Johannesburg: “Witnessing South Africa’s persistent social, racial, and economic inequities, that are remnants of colonialism and Apartheid, we problematized the way we, as Palestinians, understand the apartheid analysis.”

The Palestinian Youth Movement, the Alliance of Middle Eastern Socialists and Southwest Asian & North Afrikan – Los Angeles, stand in solidarity with the growing Refugee Movement in Greece, who are self-organizing against the violences of the European Union and Greek state, the ineptitude of the International Non-Governmental Organization system and against vigilante violence by growing European right wing-ultra nationalist formations such as the Golden Dawn Party.

Open to Palestinians in the U.S. between the ages of 18 to 25, the Ghassan Kanafani Resistance Arts Scholarship is one of several projects by which the Palestinian Youth Movement continues to answer the question of what it would mean to come together as a youth formation that rejects the political and geographic fragmentation.

Palestinian Youth Movement opposes the Dakota Access Pipeline as another opportunity to destroy Native environment and it will caravan from California to Standing Rock, North Dakota in solidarity this month.
