“A Day in the Life Of Abed Salama” tells the story of Israel’s occupation of Palestine through one family’s tragedy.
“The study is the most comprehensive and persuasive analysis of why the Israel occupation has now become illegal,” says former UN Special Rapporteur Michael Lynk. “It will be the intellectual and political touchstone on Palestine and international law for some time to come.”
Slate reports on top-editor media bias during Israel’s 2014 attack on Gaza: “when a statement came from the Israel Defense Forces, senior editors at the paper treated it as fact. When [reporter] Omar recorded a statement from an eyewitness on the ground that contradicted the Israeli military’s account, he said the top editors called it unreliable.”
